Popinjay Press picture books are perfect for nontraditional families because they’re diverse and customizable. Featuring grandparents, foster parents, siblings as guardians and more, our books are as unique as your family dynamic!
Can I add my child's name to the book? Popinjay Press books can be customized, not personalized; that is, you can determine the general family dynamic but not specific characteristics. This is intentional — we want our picture books to represent your family, not replicate it exactly. We hope this will help your little one feel a little less alone and a little more sure of their place in the world.
How long will it take for my book to arrive? Cute little popinjays don't hatch overnight. Each custom book is printed individually, so please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Also note that items in your order may ship separately.
Do you accept returns? Since every single book we print is custom, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. However, if an error was made on our part, we’ll do our best to make it right. Please email us at PopinjayPress@gmail.com with a detailed description of your complaint, as well as photos of the defect, the barcode on the back cover, the press information from the interior back pages, and the order number or store where you purchased it.
How big are the books? Both hardcover and paperback Popinjay Press books are 8" x 8" — the perfect size for little hands!
